Project Goal Summary

My student organization, Sustainable Energy Tribe, organized the Atlanta Climate Leadership Summit on April 5, 2016. We were able to hostОѕone of five National Campus Leadership CouncilЉ—Иs Climate Change Summits around the nation.ОѕEnvironmental leaders from around Georgia discussed how studentsОѕcan encourage othersОѕto fight against climate change, and also how we can reduce the carbon footprint on our campuses.

The event included a series of panels surroundingОѕsustainability issuesОѕsuch as recycling, how to understandОѕclimate crisis on a Оѕnational and global level, and how students can get involved.Оѕ

Project Feedback

This is amazing! Where is the project at now? I am from the South as well and I appreciate your work so much because I know how difficult it can be to create spaces to speak about climate change and find people to do the work. I would love to know more if you are still active!!

This is such a cool project and student organization! Are you still in Georgia and what are you up to now? I'm in Georgia and curious about other ecoleaders in the area.
