Other: Add up to three other actions that you think are important:
I served on the student government board as the sustainability commissioner so it was my job to work with administration, staff, and students in implementing projects that would help meet the goals of the district sustainability plan. Of course, there were Sustainabiltiy comissioners before me, so I had to maintain and keep progressing through projects that they had already started such as the permactulture garden and the sustainability fee. At the same time, I had to implment my own projects such as the earth day event and the fairtrade campus project as well as a couiple other projects intitated by other students. This process was not without it's failures which I want to mention because I believe this is an important aspect of the learning process. At times I failed at getting students to pull through with their tasks, I failed on a couple of other projects due to negligence or spreading our resources too thin. These failures were vital for me to know how to improve as a leader.
