Project Goal Summary
The goal is to redirect various items, traditionally referred to as "waste" after consumption, back to the producers for more efficient recycling, repurposing etc. Many items are not recyclable by conventional recycling systems but they are in circulation for consumption then disposal, ending up at a landfill. Until these products are designed differently - that's a different project -- it is desirable to divert the product waste, often in the fom of packaging, from ending up in the landfill. A complimentary goal is to educate the publicξ about patterns of consumption, zero-waste principles, and to prompt the public to reconsider the idea of "waste."
