Project Goal Summary
Our project is to promote recycling to our students at Ivy Tech Community Collge. ξWe will work on fostering sustainability, supporting student engagement, recognizing the need for a recycling culture, and serve as a model for how to recycle through education and events.
We will work with the Studetent Government Association and other clubs in our region gather information and once we have that done, we plan on presenting those findings to our students through educational events to teach students what they can recycle and where their recycling items goes.
We also hope to see what other things that we can do to help the environment in our area by using the skills that we learn from starting a recycling program.ξ
I believe that having be selected as an Eco Leader Student Recruiter will help me with this project because I will be able to get the word out to a lot of students about the changes that we can make to protect our environment.
