I am President of Georgia Tech's Engineers for a Sustainable World organization. We are working to create a sustainable impact through environmental service and project design both on campus and internationally. Our current projects include India Waste Management (designing compost systems), aquaponics, and collaboration with local high schools to encourage engineering careers in Atlanta's youth.Â

I have the capability to reduce the my net environmental impact and it is therefore my duty to try to preserve the natural beauty of the environment around me.
The greatest skill I bring to a team is:
my passion, drive, and motivation. This is what you need to keep a team excited and moving forward in a project, even when you hit a rough patch!
My proudest moment working on community projects was:
seeing the amount of waste I diverted from the landfill as I brought recycling on campus.
If I could change one thing about my community it would be:
the emphasis that is placed on preserving nature and diverting waste from the landfill in the city.
