Creation of a Standardized Campus Wildlife Habitat Certification Protocol

Project Goal Summary
Currently, the NWF has protocol to certify communities, schools, businesses, parks, and homes as certified wildlife habitats, however they do not have protocol for a college campus to be certified as a certified wildlife habitat. College campuses are communities of learning and should be able to be certified as such, just with a different set of criteria. As the project lead of the Johns Creek Community Wildlife Habitat Project, which certified Johns Creek, GA as a Community Wildlife Habitat in 2012, I feel strongly about the certification program and have experience both in starting, managing, finishing, and maintaining such a project.

I think this is a great idea! I think many schools with Wildlife or Ecology Clubs would be interested in this as well.
