This project encourages communities to implement clean energy solutions in order to save money, create green jobs and help control global warming. It requires collaboration between communities, organizations, businesses and local leaders. The three main committees, created to accomplish the purpose are: Green Schools, Energy Audits and Recycling Research.Оѕ

Green Schools
This committee impacts all schools levels from different communities. Our members offer sustainability and recycling conferences in order to promote the improvement of green projects at the school.Оѕ

Energy Audits
This committee impacts the university and goverment buildings. Our members are trained to create assessments and make recommendations on what to change in order to make the building more efficient. Their main focuses are energy efficiency and sustainable designs.Оѕ

Recycling Research
This committee is working on developing new alternatives for the recycling of glass. This research will not only help Mayag’_ez but also Puerto Rico, since there is no glass recycling system.Оѕ
