Hello,my name is Kima Barrett, and I currently attend Leuzinger High School. I am part of Environmental Careers Academy and my group's main point is trying to reduce plastic waste. For our project we decided to change a certain jewelry packaging since they used plastic and we informed them that they should change their packaging to more sustainable packets. For us to gain supporters and for people to understand our point we made an instagram account,made flyers, put them around the school, and also hosted a simple workshop. Overall working on this project I feel like I learned how to communicate more,become more patient with other people, and learn how to deal with certain delays since everything can’t go my way. Fun fact about me: I like to paint whenever I have free time.
