Tiny House Hunting! How much space (and stuff) do you really need?
Greetings all!

As I near the end of my lease, I've been thinking about a new place to live. Ideally, I would have access to a nice patch of grass and a shady tree to relax under, so when I imagine a new home, I envision outdoor space.

Coincidentally, I've also been watching a show called Tiny House Hunters! Many tiny house owners also share the same idea of enjoying the great outdoors. The main concept of a tiny house is that you make the most out of a very small space and use as little energy as possible (or make use of solar panels and rainwater harvesting barrels, as well as things like composting toilets). It's a fascinating transformation when people go from a normal sized house to as little as 250 square feet of space. The ingenuity that goes into building a tiny home is incredible: every nook and cranny is used, and many objects are multi-functional. People who live in tiny homes reallly make the most out of their space and what they choose to use in their daily lives. Many of the builders and contractors on Tiny House Hunters also use re-purposed materials to cut down on costs as well as to emphasize the importance of sustainability.

Is this something that you would try out for a year or two? Would you aspire to own a tiny home?
Tiny houses are also MOBILE!
